About Us
The Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) is 100% grant funded through the United States Department of Education. Since 1998, the EOC has been based in Hamilton County TN on the campus of UT Chattanooga. The EOC has assisted more than 28,000 aspiring students and currently employed individuals in improving additional education attainment, job attainment, career aspirations, and life skills. EOC participants based in Bledsoe, Grundy, Hamilton, Marion, and Sequatchie counties have also pursued additional education by attending more than 217 educational institutions (GED program, 8 weeks to 1 year certifications, 2-year community colleges, 4-year universities) in 36 states across the nation.
